Houston Canoe Club

Established in 1964, the Houston Canoe Club unites those interested in the safe canoeing and kayaling for the purpose of conservation, pleasure, health, racing and/or exploration. Monthly meetings are in Houston and paddle trips occur all over Texas and beyond.

Houston Safari Club

The Houston Safari Club, founded in 1972, is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money for preserving the sport of hunting, supporting wildlife conservation and educating the public on hunting and conservation issues.

Matagorda Bay Foundation

The Matagorda Bay Foundation is dedicated to the wise stewardship of central Texas’ estuaries and the coastal watersheds that sustain the natural resources of the Matagorda, Lavaca, Espiritu Santo and San Antonio Bays.

Save Open Space fosters protection of natural and scenic features to meet the demands of Dallas’ ever-growing regional population. Through events and education, SOS has helped preserve 3,000 acres of natural space for vibrant, sustainable communities.
