About the Event

Located within the Big Thicket National Preserve, The "Pitcher Plant Trailhead" can easily be accessed via GPS but the GPS coordinates are listed below as well:

All ages are welcome. We will meet at the Pitcher Plant trailhead on county road 4850 in Warren, Texas at 10:00 A.M. to depart down the boardwalk through the pitcher plant bog. We will continue down the trail after a short lesson on carnivorous plants. The entire trail is a mostly flat, roundtrip loop at approximately 1.0 mile in length. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but no pumpkins. Please bring your own pumpkin if you wish to carve a pumpkin with us afterwards! We will provide some stencils, tools, and trash bags for cleanup.
