About the Event
Join TCA, Go Outside Alliance, and Cedar Hill State Park in removing invasive plants! As one of the most highly visited state parks, Cedar Hill staff work hard to manage its 1,826 acres. Come support our beloved park and help restore its ecosystem for wildlife and future visitors!
Volunteers will be pulling the plants out of the ground. If possible, please bring small weeders and shovels for digging.
Please bring a refillable water bottle and wear closed toed shoes, and dress according to the weather.
Note: Snack and Lunch are provided for volunteers! Volunteers are welcome to stay at the State Park after the event.
