About the Event
Join Dallas County Parks and Open Space and Texas Conservation Alliance on Saturday, December 7th, to remove litter from Post Oak Preserve!
Removing litter from our preserves helps to restore natural habitats by preventing harmful materials from polluting ecosystems and from wildlife ingesting it. Post Oak Preserve is one of the last large strands of Post Oak Savannah in Dallas County where native grasses and plants provide food and cover for many wildlife species. Your efforts will contribute to making a lasting, positive impact at Post Oak Preserve!Â
Please Note:Â There are no restrooms at this preserve.
What to Bring: Don't forget your own water, we'll provide snacks.
Â
Note: Volunteers will need to register through the Dallas County website by creating an account. We appreciate you taking this extra step, as it will help strengthen the County program's voice. Thank you!
Adults must pass a background check (free of charge). You will receive an email from ApplicationStation prompting you to fill out the background check after you register. Feel free to reach out to Jade.affleck@dallascounty.org or call 214-653-6364 with any questions.Â
