Join Texas Conservation Alliance for a fun-filled evening exploring the commonly overlooked nocturnal moths and insect species in East Texas!

All ages are welcome, and we will be teaching guests how to use their phone to use iNaturalist to identify the species seen if needed. However, phones are not required and we welcome you to come and enjoy the evening with us! For more fun, we recommend making it a full weekend and camping at Magnolia Ridge Campground directly across from the event site. Please Read:

For this event, we will be at the listed location which borders Wolf Creek near B.A. Steinhagen Lake. The site is not maintained, and we suggest guests to wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and highly recommend bug spray to repel ticks and mosquitos. You will also need a flash light (we recommend a red light if you have one!) or head light. A waiver will be signed prior to participation upon arrival.

The site address is at the dead end of county road 3700 in Woodville, Texas:

Guests may park on the edge of the road, but please be cautious to leave enough space for others to exit and turn around as needed. We will have someone to help guide you where to park. GPS may sometimes direct you to the location from highway 92. If you need assistance, please call Ashley @ (409) 377-9356.

Restrooms:

There are no public restrooms on site. For those that need to use facilities, there is a Dollar General convience store less than a mile from the location that will be open during the event hours if needed.
