About the Event
Join TCA at Martin Dies, Jr. State Park on Saturday, November 16, at 9 am to help propagate native plants for pollinators. We will talk about the importance of native plants, discuss the species we are planting, and demonstrate how to plant them in a newly designed pollinator garden at the new Education Center. For those interested, there will be a skull study for TCA volunteers from 11-11:30 am.
Skull Study: Explore in depth about skull adaptations and how to make an educated guess to identify a skull. You’ll investigate evidence of sensory features to determine more about the animal.
If anyone wishes to stay for more learning experiences, there will be a 1 pm Meet Dexter the Snake, and 1-4 pm the Education Center will be open to volunteers to engage and explore.
