About the Event

Located near White Rock Lake, the Warren Ferris Cemetery is being restored from a neglected landscape to a historic cemetery site and wildlife habitat. The site was established in the mid-1800s on the Warren Angus Ferris homestead. Over time, a dense thicket of invasive vegetation overtook the cemetery. A few years ago, the Friends began restoring the site by removing invasive species and planting native plants. TCA is proud to support such important work and help restore healthy habitats for pollinators, box turtles, cottontails, and other wildlife in the city. Join us!
