About the Event
Join Texas Conservation Alliance (TCA), Cedar Hill State Park staff, and community partners for a hands-on restoration event! Volunteers will help plant native prairie species that support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife while restoring this rare Blackland Prairie ecosystem.
Your efforts will make a lasting impact—strengthening habitats, preventing erosion, and bringing biodiversity back to the prairie landscape. Support your state parks and give back by volunteering!

📍 Location: Cedar Hill State Park (exact meeting spot will be shared with registrants)
👟 What to wear: Long pants and closed-toed shoes required. Bring gloves, a refillable water bottle, and be ready to get your hands dirty!
Agenda:
9 am - 11 am - Planting Native Plants
11 am - 12 pm- Gardening for Wildlife Workshop. Learn more about easy ways to introduce habitat elements to our yards (food, water, shelter, etc.) as well as make some plant recommendations for different conditions in our area.
