About the Event

Join TCA Saturday, October 16, to restore Blackland Prairie – the most endangered ecosystem in the US - by planting native plants at Chalk Hill Farm in McKinney. Chalk Hill Farm owners have been working to restore and improve the land as suitable wildlife habitats for almost 20 years. Because 98.5% of Texas land is in private ownership, land stewardship has become an essential component in Texas conservation. Join TCA to plant native plants and restore prairie at Chalk Hill Farm. Learn how homeowners, ranchers, and farmers can take action and protect wildlife as stewards of the land.
