About the Event

Join TCA and Cedar Hill State Park on Saturday, July 29, to restore habitat by removing litter and invasive plants.

A group of volunteers will help minimize harm to wildlife by removing litter before it disintegrates into toxic heavy metals that contaminate water and soil alike. The second group will help remove privet (a common invasive plant in TX) that has spread quickly and displaced native plants.

Please join us Saturday, July 29, 8:30 am-11:30 am to restore habitat at our state park - a place that provides recreation for Texans and abundant wildlife!

Volunteers are invited to stay and enjoy the Park after the event!
