About the Event

Join TCA and U.S. Fish & Wildlife at the Neches River National Wildlife Refuge to restore wildlife habitat by removing litter. The Neches River is one of the largest rivers in east Texas. Its waters eventually flow into the Gulf of Mexico at Sabine Pass. The Refuge includes bottomland hardwood forests, open water, grassland, and floodplains. The Refuge is an important wintering habitat for various waterfowl, including mallards and wood ducks. Join us Saturday, January 29, to remove litter pollution and help restore this important site for the wildlife which depends on it.
