About the Event

Join TCA and City of College Station in restoring the native plant demonstration gardens at Lick Creek Park's Gary Halter Nature Center! On Saturday April 13th from 9 AM - 12PM, we will be removing invasive plants before planting two-hundred native plants into the gardens. This project will not only restore habitat to benefit local wildlife and pollinators, it will also help to grow our local native seed bank for other restoration efforts at Lick Creek Park and throughout the Brazos Valley!

TCA and Dallas Zoo’s Native Plant Propagation Center will provide the plants and park staff will provide any gardening tools we may need. We ask that volunteers RSVP here, sign the two volunteer waivers, and bring closed-toed shoes and a reusable water bottle!
