TCA Fishing Days Summer 2025 Magnolia Ridge Campground Woodville, TX

Texas Conservation Alliance is back again with another fishing day at Magnolia Ridge Campground in Woodville, TX! Calling all youth to join us for hands-on fun, learning, and education. This event is free, and snacks and drinks will be provided at no cost.

Never fished before? No problem! We are happy to help you learn how to set up your pole, bait a hook, cast & reel in your first fish! We will also have a limited supply of TCA fishing gear and bait. Bring your own if you can!

Dress appropriately! It may be cold, but that won't stop us. The Kid's Fishing Pond is stocked with blue catfish and they don't mind the cold weather. A box of worms is perfect bait. We HIGHLY recommend stopping and purchasing your worms from Harris' Country Market & Bait @ 5052 FM 92 Woodville, TX 75979 just a short drive from the event.

No fishing license required for youth fishing at the Kid's Fishing Pond. Adults that wish to fish must have a valid Texas Fishing License and can fish anywhere along the sloughs of B.A. Steinhagen Lake. The Kid's fishing pond is open to youth only.

Contact Ashley@tcatexas.org for any questions! We hope to see you there.
