Love the environment? Feeling competitive?
Join Texas Conservation Alliance for the July Trash Royalty Cleanup!! With multiple categories, there's plenty of opportunity to earn your title as Trash Royalty and take home an amazing prize! We'll meet at Forest Lane Station for a brief introduction and orientation before fanning out along the nearby Cottonwood Creek and White Rock Creek. Weighing and judging of trash will start at 11:30 SHARP at Forest Lane Station! Be there by noon for your efforts to count!!
Trash grabbers, gloves, sunscreen, water, and great snacks will all be provided for our hard-working competitors!
Trying to strategize early? You're in luck! The categories are as follows, so plan accordingly:
-Most trash by weight: single competitor
-Most trash by weight: team of two
-Most trash by weight: team of 3+
-Best find, judged by Texas Conservation Alliance event organizer
-Most of one object
-Most trash by weight: MICROPLASTICS ONLY
-Best before and after photo of the LANDSCAPE
-Best before and after photo of the GROUP
