YOU’RE INVITED: STOP MARVIN NICHOLS TOWN HALL

Texas Conservation Alliance and its partner Preserve Northeast Texas will host a Town Hall meeting in Texarkana Tuesday, March 29, 2022, to share information with interested Texans about the proposed Marvin Nichols Reservoir.  The reservoir would permanently flood 66,000 acres of prime wildlife and ag land, and cost an estimated $4.4 billion.  Please join TCA’s Janice Bezanson and other speakers, Jeff Rake, Resident Mill Manager of Graphic Packaging, and Jim Thompson, CFO of Ward Timber and chair of the North East Texas Water Planning Group, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, at The Silvermoon on Broad, 217 West Broad Street, Texarkana, TX, 75501.
