About the Event


Join Texas Conservation Alliance (TCA), Cedar Hill State Park staff, and community partners for a hands-on restoration event at the park. Volunteers will help plant native prairie species, supporting pollinators, birds, and wildlife while restoring this unique Blackland Prairie ecosystem.

Your efforts will make a lasting impact by strengthening habitats, preventing erosion, and bringing back biodiversity to the prairie landscape. Support your state parks by volunteering!

  • 📍 Location: Cedar Hill State Park (exact meeting spot will be shared with registrants)

  • 👟 What to wear: Long pants and closed-toed shoes required. Bring gloves, a refillable water bottle, and be ready to get your hands dirty!
